2021 kicked off with a Radio 2 shaped bang for me as I had the awesome opportunity to work across the social channels for the station.
My content production involved large scale project planning for campaigns like Eurovision, overhauling the day-to-day messaging on the channels and focussing on amplifying key features from the schedule on the social channels from pick your own playlist to My Life In a Mixtape (even getting Kylie on board). This would range from static assets to engaging videos / audio products.
Each social channel had a very different audience and one of my main goals was to grow the Instagram audience significantly which I managed to do increasing followers by 15k over a short period of time. I worked with all areas of the business to make sure that the social channels were engaging, maximising interaction and had high quality content echoing the on-air messaging. One of my favourite projects was bringing to life the poem that lovely Meryl did on Popmaster which you can see here.
Having the chance to work on brands I love and am a huge fan of really helped me give a fan insight into the content.
